Just because you may exercise regularly doesn’t mean you can eat whatever you want. Implementing a balanced nutrition into your life style is the key to achieving your body transformation goals.  Your food intake is 70% responsible for your success.  Glory Fitness will help you develop a nutritional lifestyle so you’ll not only get great muscle-building and fat-burning results from your personal training, but you’ll also enjoy a higher level of energy throughout the day by incorporating good nutrition.  

Eat six meals a day:
Eating a combination of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates every few 2-3 hours throughout the day will speed up your metabolism and maintain stable energy levels.  For best results, you should eat six times a day.  

Combine carbohydrates & protein at every meal: 
The simple fact is our bodies work better with a balance of carbohydrates and protein. Not only is protein essential for building healthy muscle and maintaining a strong immune system, it stabilizes insulin levels, which leads to steady energy throughout the day. One more benefit: eating protein has been shown to reduce your appetite. So, avoid high-carbohydrate nutrition plans and instead balance your protein and carbohydrate intake. 

Drink 10 glasses of water every day:
With any comprehensive training program, it is important to stay well hydrated.  Drink at least one glass of water with each of your six meals, and add four more glasses throughout the day. And remember that diet soda, coffee and tea are diuretics, so if you drink one of these occasionally, you will need an additional glass of water to compensate for the diuretic effect of these beverages. 

Strive for consistency, not perfection: 
When you get off track, don’t allow it to slow you down. Enjoy the divergence, but then recommit to your goal, and get back on track with your next meal or your next exercise.  Strive for consistency.
